LGIU’s C’llr 10 event

League table updates

League tables always promote competition. After today’s batch of additions there was a new leader on the party league table.
Due in large part to some recruiting at Wirral Council by Cllr Chris Blakeley the Conservatives, very briefly, became the largest party in the listings, with 129 councillors to the Liberal Democrats 128.

Today our ‘live’ listing hit the 400 mark. Cllr Flick Rea became the 400th councillor to feature in the Cllr Tweeps list of Tweeps. It’s less than a month to go until the Local Government Information Unit hold their C’llr.10 conference.
One of the key parts of the event will be the Councillor of the Year award for which nominations are currently being taken.
