We perform a few checks, like reading through your Tweets and taking a quick look at your council’s website but aim to get you up as soon as possible.
And while you are talking to us, why not let us know what you think of the site and what you’d like from it - it’s being developed constantly, and we have a lot of ideas for Cllr Tweeps 2.0, but would love to hear what you think.

UPDATE: Gave it a quick go, but it wouldn’t play nicely - not sure if it’s the WP version or the theme or I made a hash of the installation. Will try and get it working properly for v2.

I’m an independent Councillor and portfolio holder for the Economy and Skills with Caradon District Council for the Looe and St Martins ward in South East Cornwall and am a chronic tweeper.
I’m on 2.7 and it works, but it did take an hour or so to do.
The other needed facility is an RSS feed of additions to your list, which could be (I suppose) a category/tag feed or a dedicated Twitter “Announce” account which has it’s own RSS brought in.
That would help polibloggers keep up :-)
And I’m bringing out an E-Book soon which should cover some of these areas.

Another good idea. We’ll start announcing new twittering councillors in suitably sized blocks with a tag and using the main account to Tweet them as they are added.
